About Veracious Consulting
No government affiliation or endorsement
Veracious Consulting is not part of, employed by, endorsed by, approved by, accredited by or otherwise affiliated with:
- the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA); or
- the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission.
We do not act on behalf of either body, and nothing on this website should be taken as suggesting that we do. Any reference to these bodies, to the NDIS Practice Standards, the NDIS Code of Conduct or to NDIS rules is for information only and does not imply any relationship, approval or endorsement.
Not an approved quality auditor
Veracious Consulting is not an approved quality auditor.
We cannot conduct NDIS audits, issue certification or verification, or make any determination about a provider’s compliance or registration status. Only an approved quality auditor can conduct an NDIS audit, and only the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission can make registration decisions.
Any review, mock audit or readiness assessment we conduct is a preparation and improvement exercise only. It has no formal standing and no effect on any audit or regulatory process.
Not legal advice
Veracious Consulting does not provide legal advice and is not a law firm.
Information on this website, in our resources and products, and in our consulting work is general compliance and operational guidance only. It does not constitute legal, financial, clinical, employment or insurance advice, and should not be relied on as such.
You should obtain independent professional advice where your circumstances require it.
No guarantee of compliance or audit outcomes
We cannot and do not guarantee that any provider will:
- achieve or maintain compliance with the NDIS Practice Standards, NDIS rules, the NDIS Code of Conduct or any other obligation;
- pass any audit, or achieve certification, verification or registration;
- avoid findings, non-conformities, complaints or regulatory action.
Compliance depends on a provider’s own systems, decisions, workforce and day-to-day practice, which are outside our control.
General information only
Content on this website is general in nature. It does not take into account the specific circumstances, participants, workforce, registration groups or risk profile of any particular provider.
Regulatory requirements change. While we take reasonable care to refer to current published requirements, we do not warrant that all information on this website is current, complete or accurate at the time you read it. Providers should always confirm their obligations against current primary sources, including material published by the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission.
Provider responsibility
Each provider remains solely responsible for:
- understanding and meeting its own legal and regulatory obligations;
- the safety, quality and delivery of its supports;
- approving, implementing, monitoring and reviewing any document, system or recommendation it adopts;
- ensuring its workers are appropriately screened, inducted, trained and supervised;
- all decisions it makes, whether or not those decisions follow guidance we have provided.
Engaging Veracious Consulting does not transfer any obligation, responsibility or liability to us.
