Independent compliance guidance, grounded in real service delivery
Veracious Consulting was established to give NDIS providers compliance support that is practical, honest and usable.
Why we exist
Many providers want to do the right thing and still struggle. Obligations are spread across rules, standards, guidance documents and updates. Advice is often either expensive and abstract, or cheap and generic. Templates get purchased, filed and never implemented.
Meanwhile, the things that actually protect participants — a worker who recognises a reportable incident, a handover that captures what changed, a complaint that gets acted on — depend on systems that people understand and use.
Veracious Consulting was set up to help providers build those systems.
Our approach to provider compliance
We start with what your service actually does, then work backwards to the obligations that apply. We look at your documents and at your practice, because the two are often different.
Our work is structured around three questions:
- What are you required to do?
- What are you currently doing?
- What is the most practical way to close the distance?
Participant rights, safety and quality
Working with directors, managers and frontline teams
With directors and key personnel
we focus on governance, oversight, accountability and risk.
With operations and service managers
we focus on systems, records, monitoring and reporting.
With team leaders and frontline workers
we focus on what to do, when, and how to record it.
Honest, independent guidance
We are not affiliated with any regulator, auditor or software provider. We have no commercial interest in what you conclude.
That means we will tell you when something is not adequate, when a document you have paid for is not fit for purpose, and when a timeframe you have set yourself is unrealistic. We would rather be useful than agreeable.
We will also tell you when something is outside our scope and refer you elsewhere.
Implementation and continuous improvement
A gap analysis is the beginning of the work, not the end. We support providers through implementation — adapting documents, briefing teams, setting review cycles and building the habits that keep systems current.
Continuous improvement is an obligation, but it is also simply how good services stay good.
